Can Turkish citizens buy property in the UK?

How long does it take to complete the title deed transfer?

The title deed transfer process is usually completed within 3 to 6 months. During this period, the lawyer who carries out the transactions on your behalf examines many documents in detail and performs the necessary legal checks.

One of the most important advantages is that the house price is paid at the end of the process. Payment is not made until all checks are completed; this way, your money is safe and the transaction process is transparent.

Can I buy real estate without a lawyer?

No. Title deed transfer transactions are carried out only by the lawyers of the buyer and seller parties.

Is it necessary to show the source of money when buying a house?

Yes. You must clearly document that the money you will use to purchase real estate was obtained through legal means.

Can Turkish citizens get a mortgage?

Yes, they can. If you are buying a house to rent out, some UK banks and mortgage companies can provide loans to such buyers.

In investment purchases, it is generally possible to use a loan between 50% and 75% of the value of the house.
